About Me
My Story
I am mature, honest, approachable and, essentially, interested in people. I am fully qualified and experienced and my counselling approaches are based on the needs of each individual client and include person-centred, solution-focused, cognitive-behavioural therapy, Mindfulness and transactional analysis therapies.
I have supported both adults and children with anxiety, depression, Adult ADHD, stress, family, childhood issues, domestic violence, relationship problems, cultural problems, addiction, work-related stress, anger management as well as body image and self-image.
I have worked with young people and adolescents on a range of problems including attachment issues, parental separation/divorce, school pressures (bullying, abuse, peer pressures, emotional problems, and alienation), and adolescents experiencing identity, intimacy or isolation issues.
I deliver training workshops on attachment, depression, anxiety, CBT and other mental health related topics to social groups and industry.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and practice according to the Code of Conduct and Ethical guidelines of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and BACP
